Hamid Ghanadan has over 26 years of experience as the Founder and CEO of LINUS, an insights, strategy, and innovation consultancy. He is a biochemist turned-marketer who has dedicated his career to understanding the decision-making patterns of scientists. “I aim to close the gap between science and humans by studying the interplay between logic and emotion in how people comprehend technical information, and applying storytelling and user experience theories to shift understanding.” Hamid is a prolific public speaker in this area and has also helped thousands of sales and marketing professionals with his books ‘Persuading Scientists: Marketing to the World’s Most Skeptical Audience’ and ‘Catalytic Experiences: Persuading Scientists and Clinicians with Effective Digital Marketing’.
Mindy is an executive-level marketing leader with 30 years of broad commercial experience spanning marketing/corporate communications, inbound & outbound marketing, product management, and sales in the global biotech market. Mindy is also experienced in business integration due to acquisition, business turn-around, and international distribution. Having previously worked with companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Affymetrix, as well as GE Healthcare. Mindy is currently a Senior Strategist and Consultant at UP THERE, EVERYWHERE, which focuses on nurturing brands and guiding communications in the life sciences, healthcare, digital health, and medical device markets.
David has over 45 years of experience in life sciences sales, marketing, business development, commercial strategy, executive management, and leadership. He has particular expertise in the life science tools arena, with an emphasis in genomics, proteomics, cell biology, and bioprocessing. Currently, David is the founder and President of Weber & Associates, a life science consulting firm, and also serves as an Executive-in-Residence with Ampersand Capital Partners, a leading life science and healthcare private equity firm. David previously served as Chief Commercial Officer for Affymetrix leading to its acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific and Maravai LifeSciencs, a publicly traded CDMO and life science technology firm.
